Nestled in the south of the Ventoux PDO, Domaine de Tara is part of the long tradition and winemaking know-how of the fabulous Rhône Valley, and offers a vibrant tribute to the beauty of the terroir, the influence of history and, more generally, to human creativity.
Domaine de Tara celebrates this heritage while looking to the future, with a sustainable approach that respects the environment. The vineyards adjacent to the estate reflect a careful cultivation of the soil and an agro-ecological approach with vitipastoralism (grazing sheep in the vines).
The Domaine’s visual identity, evoking the importance of the Church’s contributions to the world of wine through luminous, colorful stained glass windows, suggests the awakening of the senses that each visitor is invited to explore. This link between past and present is evident in the expressive, elegant wines, honey and olive oil, embodying the fusion of tradition and innovation.
High Environmental Value label: since 2017, and a pioneer in its region, Domaine de Tara has been awarded the HVE level 3 label.
Domaine in conversion to organic farming
It’s in this unique setting that two passionate brothers, Guillaume and François-Julien Vermersch, perpetuate the spirit of the Ventoux by offering an experience combining precious moments of art de vivre, festivities, sharing and authentic human encounters. All these moments of life revolve around Art in all its forms: exhibitions of paintings and sculptures in the winery, dance shows in the gardens, summer theater performances, regional storytellers…
